I am a Family Law Lawyer and have been for over 45 year. I served in the SD Legislature representing Minnehaha County for 4 years and later representing Pennington County for 4 years. I was appointed as the first Women Magistrate Judge in Pennington County. I am a past president of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. I have served on the State Board of Elections for over 20 years. I am married to the Honorable Jeffrey Viken, Federal District Judge.
